I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Norm during my recent sale and purchase. He took the time to learn exactly what I was looking for and showed me properties that were all acceptable and appropriate. At the same time he aggressively marketed my existing property. He gave me a realistic expectation of what my house was worth and would be sold for in the current market.
While purchasing and selling can be a nerve-wracking experience, Norm’s professionalism from start to finish made this a stress free experience for me. He constantly kept me up to date on the proceedings and I was always totally confident that things were being attended to, as they needed to be. In addition, I was most appreciative of advice concerning mortgage brokers, lawyers, condo rules and regulations, etc. It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable on procedures and I appreciated him sharing this information with me.
I never once felt pressured into making a decision – whether I was on the selling side or the purchasing side of the transaction. He ensured that I was always comfortable with the decision I had made.

When we decided to put our house up for sale, we knew that we didn't want a typical realtor that would give us the standard three hour spiel. We began
interviewing various realtors and finally came across Norm.
We felt comfortable right off the bat telling him what we wanted and did not want from the selling process. He was a great listener and knew how to gage what information we needed and what we already knew about how things worked in his world. He was also able to give us a light, but sensible "reality check" with regards to the value of our house and what we should list it for.
We found that Norm's selling techniques worked very well for us. He does not use all of the usual selling strategies that you may find with other realtors, however, our house was sold (conditions lifted) in less than two weeks and just shy of our asking price. We found his methods to be sensible and results-orientated.
We both strongly urge you to consider using Norm's services. He is likable, sensible, results-orientated, and really made us feel like he was working in our best interests. Most importantly, he was not only able to take direction well, but he was also able to point us in the right direction when necessary.

I heard about Norm Osback through a friend. She was more than pleased about his approach to the sale of her house, she told me he had a very practical and honest method of dealing with her. "Not flashy, just down to earth, I think it's because he used to be a farmer." That's what I wanted in a Real Estate agent, someone who I could talk to; I had fears of everything happening too fast and being pressured. I had talked to her on a Sunday. On Tuesday I looked up his website and filled in a house evaluation analysis through the internet. He emailed me back in a couple of hours that he would do a market comparison and would be in touch with me. On Wednesday he phoned that we should meet because he had market comparisons to show me. Later that day we met and he looked at my house, we arrived at a price and I signed to list with him. On Thursday I showed the house to 5 agents and their clients. On Friday morning 2 more agents and clients showed up. On Friday Norm phoned me at work to ask me if it would be possible to meet me at my house at 5:00, I was a little reluctant because I had other plans. He said he had an offer and I should try to be there. I changed my other plans and arrived home at 5:00. Fifteen minutes later Norm arrived and showed me an offer. He said 2 other offers would be here shortly, all three had an expiry time of 6:00 pm that day. The other offers showed up and with consultations with Norm I was able to arrived at a decision on which offer was the best for me. Needless to say I felt a bit nervous at this point and Norm's knowledge of Real Estate and calm approach guided me through to what I know was the correct decision. The house was sold by 6:00 pm. On Saturday morning Norm phoned to say that the deal was completed and that if anyone phoned I was to say the house was sold. Painless realty.

His helped us develop a set of positive expectations over the selling period and this helped us to relax and let him do his work. He counseled us but let us make our own decisions. He was available seven days a week and handled the initial offer that led to the sale, while we where away on holidays. We would like to take this opportunity to say, "Thank-you." Our paths crossed in such a strange and mysterious way, that we can't help but think that there stronger forces at work here.
You took the time to come to our house and spend the evening with us, filling us in on all the advantages of owning our own home. More importantly, you managed to convince us that we could be homeowners. Under your wise direction we went forward and found out that, indeed, we could qualify and successfuly obtain a mortgage. This came as a complete shock to us. I guess the bottom line here is, that without your guidance we would never have given it a try, and without a doubt, we would have been the losers. We also found throughout this process that there were no suprises while working with you. We found you to be always up front and honest about all of the financial obligations that we would be expected to respond to.
Then came the fun part of the whole process, actually looking and eventually finding our dream home. You were patient, you listened when we told you what our expectations were. You guided us honestly when perhaps we weren't asking the right questions. An example might be, when we were looking at a condo where parking was going to be difficult in the area, that was something that we weren't even thinking about, fortunately for us, you were.
We sincerely appreciate everything that you did for us. We thouroughly enjoyed our home buying experience and we couldn't be happier that we are right now. We plan to grow very old enjoying our lovely home, thanks in a great part to you.
